Hiking to trishul dada

Changunarayan temple which is enlisted in World heritage site is considered as the oldest temple of Nepal. But people who want to explore bhaktapur before going to changu narayan can hike to Trishul dada. One can go hike for around 30 minutes either from sanga, on the northern face connecting duwakot to kathmandu, or from the western and northern points off the main road near sankhu. Trishul dada is on north of Changu narayan temple. If you want to go for a longer hike, you can opt for the two hour hike from changu narayan to telkot, nagarkot.

Its not among the best hiking destinations of Kathmandu valley but its a pleasure to hike here. Hiking passing through village and forest is what we expect in hiking. Not many people know about trishul dada. But it is the destination which is near the city area and where we can enjoy peace along with nature. There is small tea house at top of the hill as well. This place can be a good option for picnic as well.
